Turbos for power, no turbos for sound, and 180 degree headers or crank for the scream.

I bet there are more Teslas running around now than there are cars with twin turbo V8s.

He also likes to misrepresent himself as someone who worked his way up from the bottom, starting out with nothing, when in reality his dad owns half of a freaking African Emerald mine

The guy started the following businesses without any help from his dad:

PayPal
Tesla
SpaceX
Tunnel digging company

He made battery powered self driving cars mass marketable in a market that people thought was impossible to break into, he sent Americans to space from America again using private industry, he’s digging and building tunnels cheaper than ever before, and he will probably send a man to mars in the next decade.

What have you done lately?

I could give you a billion dollars and you probably couldn’t run a sandwich shop

Awfully hard to run a sandwich shop when you’ve got hookers and blow money.

In all fairness, he probably won't get fined 3% of that billion by committing securities fraud either

If you change just a few details, this could be a description of Trump. And funny enough, the people who hate Musk most are absolutely infatuated with Trump.

Elon challenges the norm and is a visionary. I still remember how people said the Hyper Loop wasn’t a possibility and then they rechecked the math and realized Elon is right.

He doesn’t take the current state of process and way of doing things as a limitation. It’s incredibly unique to reimagine industry and he keeps doing it. Private space exploration being a great example.

Elon Musk didn't start PayPal or Tesla

ETA: this is exactly what I'm talking about when I say he takes credit for shite he didn't do and misrepresents himself. Everybody thinks he started those companies and he wants you to think that, he wants that as part of his mythos, but he didn't start either one. He started something called x.com which was bought by and merged with the guys who started PayPal. And he hated the named PayPal and wanted to keep it x.com bc he's terrible at naming shite, and you should really look into the fricked up business practices he used to basically try and steal that whole company, which wouldn't have become half of what it did if Musk had gotten his way on most things, and you'll see why people who have worked directly with him hate the guy

Steve Jobs gets credit for a lot of Steve Wozniak's innovations....but we both know that Apple wouldn't be where it is today without Jobs.

Turbos muffle and basically ruin the sound of an engine.

For the best sound, you want a NA or supercharged engine.

Because Tesla is a government propup.

He cons governments into giving him money to build his car and then acts a genius for doing so.

SpaceX is legit but the car crap is a con.

To be fair, the poliboard is full of booger eaters with no semblance of an actual life. Elon is dope. He just does what he wants. As a billionaire, isn’t that the goal?

How is that different than GM, Ford, or any financial institution since 08?
