My performance review with my boss went great yesterday afternoon. After we wrapped up she mentioned that I was her last review and she was done with meetings for the rest of the year. She said she was working taking off today and Friday.
I said, all I have Thursday is my staff meeting, and we just met earlier today to go over some stuff, it isn't really needed. She said, see you next year.
I slept in today, got in a workout, dropped the dogs off at the groomers, and I"m chilling in a local coffee shop since our house cleaner lady is there and it's weird being home when someone is cleaning your house.
I'm meeting my wife for lunch and then going to see Spider-man, Into the Spiderverse,

I will be lucky if I make it to noon today. Most of the team I support checked out earlier this week for the rest of the year.

Was planning on leaving early today and not coming back until next Wednesday. But a couple weeks back we got the go ahead to start on a big money project and the owner is making it a priority to be done by the middle of Feb. So I'll be here tomorrow. Probably come in for a half day on Saturday as well to stay out in front of this damn thing.
Oh well. I have a feeling it will be well worth the extra time put into it once we get this thing done. As it stands now, we can make a boat load of money for the business if it's done correctly and on time. Merry Christmas.
