Wafb ran a virus prep segment that explained MASKS ONLY help PREVENT the wearer from SPREADING the virus. Does not prevent getting contaminated.

quote from OSHA Website
"Surgical masks are not designed or certified to prevent the inhalation of small airborne contaminants."

Do people not live with a couple weeks food stock year round? Between meat in the freezer, rice, beans, canned vegetables, my family of 4 could last a month at least, and I don’t consider myself to be any sort of “prepper”.

Unless it’s an N-95 mask that you have to be fitted for....regular masks aren’t gonna protect you

Or just get an airtight p99 mask

,We really don’t, but for $136 I just got enough to put in a Rubbermaid tub in the garage that will last a week and a half to two weeks if we decide it’s just better to hang out at the house

I'm going to bite bullet and go ahead and get infected. I'm tired of the angst associated with the wait. I'll probably live and have a lot of PTO that I need to use.

The whole country of Japan just shut down every school and is telling people why go out if you don’t have to. I don’t see that having $136 worth of extra groceries sitting in my garage hurts me

Scruffy flew to Charlotte, Atlanta twice, and Miami this passed week.

He’ll keep you updated on his health.

Y'all are overreacting. The flu is worse than the coronavirus.

My biggest concern is not actually being harmed by Coronavirus, it's the impact on the economy and a potential run on supplies that worries me.

Human stupidity. The same culprits in every doomsday fantasy.

The panic will be worse than the disease.

The average American has less than $1000 to their name. Don't ever discount how stupid and short-sighted we are.

Do you really think these people have a properly stocked freezer/pantry/emergency supply? I'm not talking about prepping, either. I'm talking about just having the food laid in that a family should have on hand if you live in an area prone to natural disasters that might wipe out electricity for two to three weeks.

No, they don't. That's how you get milk sandwiches.

You don’t need canned food. We aren’t losing power.

Picked up 26 lbs of pork yesterday, and have 9 lbs frozen.
