No idea?

Do you have to barback before you become a bartender?

I help out for a catering company from time to time.

Doing a jambalaya for a wedding next Friday and have 6 crawfish boils lined up for the next three weeks.

Awesome gig.

Bartending at a college bar. I'm actually about to quit my day job to just focus in this last year of college.

Guy in yellow shirt at Centurylink.

1000 bucks extra a month is asking a lot for a side gig. Assuming you're not talking about more than 30-40 hours a month?

I would not have a problem delivering pizzas, but I would not want to do the in store stuff, like dishes, mop floors, etc. Even if that meant being off the clock for those time periods.

Pizza delivery sucks. You make 50 bucks but spend ten on gas.

You will also become a racist really quickly.

So true

We had one guy who was black and never tipped. He would just round up to the nearest dollar and have us keep the change. One time I took him a $12.88 pizza and he gave me $13 even.

So I went into his customer profile in our system and changed his comment to "BAD TIPPER". Apparently a couple months later another guy delivered to him and the black guy saw the receipt that said "BAD TIPPER" under his name. So he told the delivery guy "Bad tipper, huh? Well I will show you bad tipper!" and gave him exact change then slammed the door in his face. At least he never ordered from us again.

Another thing I hated about delivering pizza was when people would ask for a lot of different things. 2 liters, deserts, wings, salads, as well as their pizza, and every now and then you would forget something and have to go all the way back.

And when we weren't delivering we would either fold boxes or do the dishes.

Not in Pville. The trash who stiff you is balanced black and white. Tons of black middle class out there who tip just fine. I admit that has changed for the better in last decade.
In 96 I was chased down stairs for 13¢

I have a nice cushy engineering job with great benefits. My side job, designing some particular pieces of equipment for the oil & gas industry is really taking off and I've been considering quitting the main job.

Actually....the main job is really the side job now that I think about it.

How'd you feel if suddenly 36k after taxes disappeared from your annual salary? Some of us have good jobs too. But child support system butt rapes us.

Eta oh and you still paid for school lunches, co-pays, braces, sports registrations and shite, and health insurance on half the litter.

I have a vood friend friend of mine who umpires baseball. He averages $2-400 cash on the weekend.

I may do some this summer. $20 cash for an hour game isnt bad money.
