I've never had anybody give me shite. Maybe if people worked harder they'd be the Jones' instead of envying them.

Ditto.

Pay all my monthly bills and chip away at my wedding/honeymoon payments besides rent by working a 6-8 hours a weekend

Can't lie. The first few months in 11 were difficult. Washing dishes at end of a shift at 10 pm while most people you graduated LSU with in 99 are living in the houses you deliver to. Then you get off work to retire to your shithole apt.

That was difficult time. Then finally you own it and it's kinda fun being free and different.

What are your hours like for that kind of cheese?

Is it a college bar? Adult bar? Is it crowded?

Sorry for all the questions...

My old roommate used to work at a bank fulltime, then bartend at nights for extra money

he would be gone from 7 am till 1 am most days/nights

it sucked that he never had any free time, but he did because he just had to have this $85k car with a $1100/month car note

he was a moron

I help my best friend cut grass. We both work at the same place and we cut grass about 3 sometimes 4 days of the week after work.

You are a better man than me. My pride wouldn't allow me to deliver pizza. Not saying anything is wrong with it. I'm just a shallow person I suppose.

And what is wrong with this? A person who wants to work extra for something they really want is fine by me.

My car note is like $600 a month. It's more than I ever thought I'd pay but I really wanted it and didn't want to come out heavy on cash for a depreciating product.

I also would never spend over 50K for any vehicle. That's just absurd.

Delivered to an old classmate of mine. Her first words she opened the door were "[mikel], what are you doing? You were the smart one."

My reply, "I didn't like wearing rubbers. And you better fricking tip me well."

No, but if he wants to spend it, that's his decision. I don't believe in spending over 50K for a vehicle because it is such a depreciating asset. And only then it has to be a niche vehicle- sports car or luxury suv

Bartenders have a decent cash/hour ratio as well as a flexible schedule. Plus all the trim that it naturally attracts
