I did until I was about 7yo. Parents were young and started with nothing. I thank them for the life lessons of working hard and making something out of nothing.

The people that live in Texas on here do and they come back here and post how things are so much better over there.

I do. Sold my house a year ago and downgraded to a nice single wide (easier to resell to move). Have a 7 year plan to be completely debt free + have money saved for a large down payment when we plan to build on the same land, which we already own.

Lived in one my first year at LSU. We rented 600 acres off river road just past lake beau pre. We had horses, cows, goats sheep, 4 wheelers, we could hunt out there. We even had a trampoline. It was fricking awesome.

Judging people for their financial situations is trashier than living in a trailer.

I live in an apartment, which is the city version of a trailer.

I wouldn't mind living in trailer in the woods. My Dad's hunting "cabin" is a nice trailer on 30 acres of hunting land. I could definitely see myself living there.

there are pros and cons to everything...much easier to move if you have a trailer

Also, with the hipsters all into tiny homes,

All they need is a few hipsters on the outskirts of Portland living in trailers to be "ironic" and that shite is gonna skyrocket

My wife and I have kicked around the idea of buying acreage and living in a trailer while saving up for a dream home. Maybe borrow against the land to fund the house.

I have walked into a few tiny homes, and always think to myself "just live in a single wide."

this the attitude equivalent of a trailer. And no, I live in a red brick house but don't look down on other people. Jesus didn't even own the equivalent of a trailer.

Don't live in it but own one on a lake, I stay there quite often and see nothing wrong with it other than lack of width.

Three bedrooms, two baths, kitchen, screened in patio and raised deck about 10' from the water

I could live there but the wife and kid would not
