Plenty of documented cases of people who contracted it and recovered relatively quickly and reported it was as people are saying here.

Rudy Gobert and Tom Hank’s wife both said it wasnt too bad.

Here is a link from another woman who had it and recovered at home without it getting too bad.

Thats not true either. Plenty of people have tested positive and didnt get knocked on their arse.

This thing has been around since last year. So either it spreads fast and has already been here. Or it doesnt spread as fast as you fear mongering arse holes want to believe.

Possible, idk. Before Christmas I had a sore throat for 24 hours then extreme fatigue and a bad cough for a week, but no sinus involvement. Then it was gone and I was fine the next day. I figured the flu but it wasnt like the flu usually hits me.

Same. I had a sore throat on Sunday 2 weeks ago, then fatigue for a few days combined with a cough. The cough is finally starting to go away. Went to the doctor and he said likely a sinus infection. I never get a cough but have had it for 2 weeks.

Supposedly many people are not having fever as a symptom.

Sorry to subject the board to this cause I realize nearly everybody is having these questions right now.

I’ve had a medium strength headache for two days (and feeling generally run down) but not coughing or having trouble breathing. My temperature hasn’t been high either.

From what I’m reading that’s avoiding most of the symptoms, but I’m a worrier and feel like I’m making myself more sick with the panic.

Anybody have insight or just want to e-slap some sense into me?

Saw a doctor on ABC saying many people probably already had it this season and never knew it I went to the doctor in January with a low grade fever, body aches, and a nagging cough. I tested negative for flu and the doc said I had some sort of virus and that he’d seen a bunch of people that week that had similar symptoms and tested negative for flu It hung around about 5-7 days but I felt like shite.

Exactly what happened with me in January. Not excited to feel like that again though as I’ve seen nothing stating you can’t get it more than once.

That is literally how 95% of CV19 cases go.

Go stock up on more toilet paper, chicken little.

Sore throat and fever came on quick. Fever left after a day and sore throat stuck around 3 more days. Then the cough started and extreme lethargy...didn’t want to get out of bed. No flu, no strep. Slight chest tightness. That passed in 4 days. Lasted 8-9 days in total with slight lingering cough a few additional days. I had a solid week I lost just laying around the house. This was 2 weeks ago. I’m not sure what else it would be.

Caught something flying back from Atlanta in December. On the couch for 5 days running fever and hacking cough. I thought it might have been the flu. I never went to the Dr so I have no way of knowing but the thought has crossed my mind a few times.

GF got something after we flew back from San Diego around New Years. Dogged her for about 7 days. Fever for a day, coughing, lost her voice, aches and grogginess. She’s in the healthcare business and just got some antibiotics and a shot and went on about her business. Asked her a couple days ago about it and it was like an Aaaa haaaa moment. “Was I patient zero?” She asked.

I felt like crap with fever for about two/three days in December. After the fever broke I had a cough and wheezing in my lungs for about two weeks. I'm a runner, so I continued to run at least a mile every day. As soon as I was done my lungs felt like they were on fire. I'd go lay down on the floor and it'd subside in about 10 minutes, but the coughing and wheezing stayed around. I remembered thinking I can't shake this shite, but after two weeks it finally subsided.

It started out as a joke at my house, but I’m seriously wondering now if my kids all had it within the last week or two. Given that they had close contact with several recent travelers and at least one suspected case (couldn’t be verified because of test shortages), it’s not as farfetched as I would’ve thought before.

All three started with sore, red throats and general malaise. Two progressed to a dry cough and major head congestion, but no runny nose. One had by far the most persistent cough he’s had in his entire life. Luckily none of them ever got ER sick.

But maybe the weirdest part is that some of the symptoms were so unique and inconsistent with the flu, like the complete lack of fever even though they all complained of chills and felt/looked flushed. My oldest also kept trying to go back to school too soon because there was no fuzzy head or brain fog like you normally get with flu. Those things definitely stood out as odd and new to us, and I was pretty taken aback to see another poster under quarantine (MrLSU?) report that he and several of his clients were experiencing the exact same thing. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not really bad news since my kids are 90-95% recovered — it was just eerie.

I was at Disneyland, Universal, and flew on 4 airplanes in and out of LAX in mid February. I’d be shocked if it didn’t cross my path

Given that people have only been tested for the past couple of weeks, this is a really stupid thing to say.

Now, everyone's already had the virus? The exact Covid-19 virus? Lulz. There are literally hundreds of viruses that affect the human body.
If everybody has already had it, it'd be reasonable to think that we'd be "in the middle" of the virus bell curve already, yet we're seeing increasing number of cases and increasing number of deaths.
I wish we could say the worst is behind us, but the facts of the matter just don't indicate that at this point
