Give every adult in the US a million dollars. Wouldn’t cost much compared to Ukrainian aid. It would help many people and stimulate the economy …. No brainer

I don’t think we’ve sent Ukrainian anywhere near 334 trillion dollars.

Would be a good method of thinning the herd. Many of you goofballs would blow it all on booze, bitches and blow and then turn to the hard stuff because you were having so much fun.

Uh, they are getting a haircut. If you bought long term Treasuries a couple of years ago, your investment has lost half its value.

I see you have not been aware of global markets in the past 150 years.

After WWII we cemented as the world currency and the conversion from gold dollars to petrol dollars made Uncle Sam's GreenBacks the defacto global exchange currency.

Idiots in Congress want to make an mountain out of a molehill while sinking the rep of USD's in the world.

Why not just treat those folks to a haircut. It's done with student loans, ppp covid loans, bank bailouts,, international aid programs.

Every holder of US bonds the most of which are US retirees and financial institutions like pension funds, can you now see the downside?

I'm going to go out on a limb and say you don't have even the slightest understanding what makes up the "national debt" and how treasury securities work.

Seems like an inevitability. I mean what happens when China calls in even a fraction of the debt? It's not getting paid.
