Consider too that Sweden’s economy is being hammered too. Their GDP has also declined in lindd Ed Ruth their European neighbors and their unemployment rate has also jumped.

The main difference with Sweden's approach is that they have an actual strategy with an end game in mind. We'll have to see how it plays out. But at least they have a plan, and if it works they will be better off for it. For the life of me, I don't know what the end game is with our shut down strategy. What are we hoping to accomplish? Are we just praying that if we hide ling enough it will all go away?

True but wasn’t their intent to do better than their neighbors?
They are not.
I’m asking, if their death rates are demonstrably higher and their economy is not better than their neighbors, then what’s the point?
Perhaps they will do better in the future?

The main difference in almost all of Sweden's policies is that they have an actual big picture strategy.
Our policies, on the other hand, are mainly just a free for all, fly by the seat of your pants money grab.

Their death rate is still about 75%. Essentially anyone that could possibly die from Covid is definitely going to die.

In the US, we allow each state to dictate the strategy, so we have 50 different strategies it seems.

Any objective review of the current La. situation shows that one size doesn’t fit all. Parts of La. are going well, other parts srdd Ed flat and some aren’t doing well. The call should be for a targeted approach and not one plan for all areas.

And they’re not testing much at all. Just 20,300 confirmed cases. Almost 2500 deaths. That death rate is 12%. Completely unrealistic.

Was there some end game or goal that we were shooting for?

You sure Trump didn't call it a dem hoax in late Feb? Then say 15 would soon be zero, then say it would magically disappear in April....now we know he was getting briefings as early as November, by the way THATS WHY ITS COVID 19, cause it was discovered in 2019, not that it's the 19th covid like youlls heroes Conway, Limbaugh.... As far as WHO, if we're firing them for fricking up, they should fire themselves, on Jan 24th. Trump tweeted out praises for China's hard work and transparency but supposedly we are mad at the WHO for taking the Chinese at their word....all youlls BS falls apart and will be done in November
