Not a flight, but I've been friends with Kate Mara for about 18 years. Went to Los Angeles to see her a couple weeks ago.

Shared an apartment with her sister, Rooney Mara for about three years in New York when she was in college and I was working there.

Got on a plane in Washington DC, National Airport before it was Reagan National, and Eddie Robinson gets on after being in town to get honored and receive an award the night before. He sat in coach with everyone else until the pilot comes back and offers him a seat in first class. Coach Rob at first refuses but the pilot is adamant about it and Coach eventually agrees. I swear he looked embarrassed as he got up and went forward. Flew into Monroe with him and got to interact with him a bit. Super nice guy and a real privilege to meet him.

The Rock.

Flying out of LAX to SEATAC. I think there was a wrestling event going on in Seattle.

A bunch of wrestlers on that flight. Chyna's was the only other one I recognized.

Tommy Lasorda. Actually sat next to him in the waiting area and had about a 10 minute talk with him until he asked my brother and I to watch his bag while he went to the lounge.

I really dont look or care, so dont know if I have or not been on a flight with someone famous. But last I can remember, Josh Hamilton, simply due to how tall he was when he walked on the plane. And people around me whispering..."thats Hamilton"

I’ve flown 2x per week for the past 15 years.

Because of frequency, I usually get upgraded and sit in first.

Still, only seen Katie Couric, Aaron Neville, Mark Henry, and Spencer Tillman. For Spencer, super nice guy, but, I wanted to talk football and he wanted to talk stocks.

As senior in college, was on flight from Hawaii to LAX with entire WWF crew who was coming back from Japan. Can’t remember them all b/c was 25 years ago but for sure Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash pounding beers the whole night, etc.

When I was like 9 years old I flew by myself home from my grandmas house in Pittsburgh back home to FL. I sat in first class next to Doc Gooden. I was a huge baseball fan back then so I thought that was the coolest thing ever. He signed my boarding pass for me.

The year: 2000 (I was 18)

The celebrities: Brittany Spears and Justin Timberlake

The mission: To get Brittany to sign an inflight magazine that just happened to have this ad in it.

The result: The flight attendant told me Ms. Spears couldn't be bothered, as she was "resting." (sure she was)

The real reason:

Dustin Pedroia, I was flying to Ontario airport in California, they got off in Phoenix. He and his wife had the biggest ugliest damned Gucci bags I ever seen.
