Spring of '73 as part of Parade Magazine Young Columbus program. We all circled the ballroom of the Presidential Palace in Bucharest, Romania and got to shake his hand. Our college chaperon was Jack Sikma who would later become a Seattle SuperSonic.

Romania at the time was the "friendliest" on countries behind the iron curtain.
