Paul Lynde.

When Peter Marshall was asking the question, the camera would cut to Lynde, and I was laughing before he even gave his answer.

He was one of the few comedians that would laugh at his own jokes and it absolutely worked for him.

Before most of y’all’s time but Tim Conway and Bob Newhart have a place in this conversation as well.

Its a special brand....but i’d submit that norm macdonald should be in the conversation.
