I like with messing with the liberal agenda pushers on the corners in DC.
“Hi sir, do you care about the environment?”
Yes, but let’s be clear that I use as much toilet paper as it takes to keep my arse clean.
“Hi sir, do you care about children?”
Yes, but I care about my six more than the ones that you have never met.

ME: "I'm busy right now. Can I get your name and home phone number so I can call you back tonight?"
Shithead TM:"I'm not giving you that."
ME: "What, you don't like random phone calls interrupting your day?"
SHTM: *hangs up*

I’m hard of hearing. Then I have them repeat themselves over and over again. The Indian dudes get so pissed off. They start cursing, asking “What da frick is wrong with you?”
Done that too with a scammer, and this dude was pissed. When you get them to hang up, you win. I might make a game of it when I retire. Make those lazy bastards want to go get an honest job and not try to rip people off.

I don’t answer the phone if it’s just numbers

You guys are armatures.
I bust out the King of the Hill soundboard with Hank Hill quotes and frick with'em hard. If they learn nothing at all but that I'm Hank Hill, I live in Arlene and sell propane and propane accessories.
Most of the time they do not get it. However one time this chick knew who Hank Hill was and after a couple of comments by Hank she was busting out laughing and said, Ok Hank, we will go ahead and put you on the do not call list,
Lately when they want to sell insurance, they usually ask if I'm under 65 or whatever age limit, and I tell them no, I'm over that age. They hang up real quick.

ack in the day it was toner scammers that I used to have fun with. Had one call me back to tell me to go frick myself.
Wasted one telemarketer's time while shopping as the guy wanted to sell me a glucose monitor. When he mentioned the device had WiFi enabled on it, I insisted that it should not as I do not want the FBI to know my glucose levels. It went on for 15-20 minutes and a fellow shopper actually stopped to listen to the conversation. It was all fun, made someone laugh.
Then there was another one where I'm in the car and had a 30 minute conversation with this person on how I was depressed over losing my great dane/dachshund mix puppy that I called a greatweenie. She was really sympathetic and was h
oping that sympathy would get me to buy into some scam life insurance.
My first job I got a lot of those toner calls. In case folks do not know these guys would call and fish for the kind of copier/printer you had and then send the product as if you had ordered it with an overpriced invoice. Most people do not know how much the stuff is supposed to cost so often the bill is just paid.
I looked up the most expensive toner cartridge and this thing had a a wholesale price close to a thousand. It was for some sort of industrial sized printer and there was no way they would send one with a hope to get paid. These guys would argue with me on the phone that there was no way we had that printer. It killed time at a job that needed time killing.

I got the auto warranty once. I told them I had a 1964 Buick Skylark and they hung up.
I got a home security scammer and said I lived at 101 25th Avenue in Gulfport (that address would be in the Gulf). A manager took over and called me on it.
I told a cruise scammer my husband and I were very interested. And we both had pun names along the lines of "Ben Dover".
I do it whenever I'm not busy. Partly for fun but mostly to run interference so they can't call someone who really does fall for it.

I did it today on my computer safety software program. I acted like I didn’t know how to turn on the computer and my wife needed to help me. When she said to open Safari I said I was scared of elephants and giraffes. That ended the conversation.

Love doing this. I’ve had them on the phone for a half hour “figuring out” how to let them gain access to my computer and not understanding instructions. They get so pissed when they realize you’re fricking with them.

I had a guy trying to give me my free cruise until I asked if the cruise line accepts service animals. He said sure do, what kind of service animal. I said a Kimono Dragon and he said “absolutely not,” so I told him to blow me.

I told toner scammers once we had no printers. When they asked what we do for hard copies I said we have a room of interns that write everything down. I said the reason for it was the owners believed Hewlett-Packard was run by Satan worshipers and why we didn't have laser printers as they invented it.

Nah, soundboard are amateurish. Doing a spot on Hank Hill impression is better. That's how I got the one to tell me to go frick myself.

That’s actually not good.
Banks look at that as you could be $65k in debt overnight if you chose to.
