Things I have no interest in doing due to my self preservation thoughts kicking in:

Skydiving
Rock Climbing
Mount Everest
Swimming with sharks
Driving through East Los Angeles on a Saturday night.

Did a tandem jump once in my twenties. Don't remember exactly where, but I think it was in Hammond. The outfit was called Blue Skies or something similar.

Was very cool. Did it in the summer. It's cold as hell when your free falling, but by the time we touched down I was sweating buckets.

That's how you wind up on a Faces of Death video.

There is a skydiving school in Lodi,CA. Since the early 80s there have been 20 fatalities, including a skydiver and student killed in a tandem jump.

Skydive Key West

I went once a couple of years. The views on the way up and down are gorgeous. And the ppl that worked there were cool as can be. Also If you pay extra they’ll film your whole jump.

To some it’s a one time thing. To others it becomes a way of life. I don’t think there’s an in between. I did it consistently over the course of 4 years and got over 500 jumps in. 3rd solo jump my chute didn’t open and I had to go to the reserve.

Ending up having to stop because it got so expensive to have as a hobby. I’ve watched people go broke trying to keep going up.

Skydiving relaxes me. Bungie jumping is terrifying, but I do it anyway.

Galveston is the only one in the US that goes over water and you land on the beach. Don’t request Omar as your tandem jumper.

I did a few time in San Diego while in the Navy. It was awesome. Amazing views.

Sunday a skydiving plane crashed at the airport near my house. Thank goodness it crashed during takeoff instead of landing because my house is directly under the landing zone.

West Tennessee Skydiving is the best place around imo

It’s a skydiver paradise

Spaceland in Dallas is great as well

Got my license several years back, but turns out after moving to Louisiana there aren't many places to jump so my license lapsed

So lucky for you but shite for the people on the plane. If it crashed on landing, it wouldn't have had anyone but the pilot on board. Selfish take.

Fun fact: you don’t need a parachute to go skydiving. You do need a parachute to go skydiving twice.

There used to be a freefall school somewhere near Opelousas. There was so much duct tape and plywood inside of that aircraft, you were anxious to get to altitude to jump.

Did it once. Glad I did. I have no desire to do it again.
