I drive a Camry. I have a 65 mile commute so getting 35 mpg on the highway is nice.

I pull my boat with the Camry lol. I look like the Beverly hillbillies going down i10

I drove a corolla for 10 years. Great vehicle. Easy maintenance and great gas mileage. Family grew in size so it was time to get a bigger car.

Two Camrys and an Accord in our family. Bought the Camrys (2005 and 2017) new and lease return. Bought the Accord used. Accord is the worst of the three, has lots of little problems that most Accords do not seem to have judging from conversations here, over the years.

My 1994 Ranger which I dearly love may be nearing its end if that 2020 Camry TRD comes on the market.

I drive a Porsche 911 - that doesn't take up much room.

2010 Mazda 3. Easy to park in DC and fun to drive.

But I'm seriously considering getting rid of it and relying 100% on Uber/Lyft if I need to go somewhere that I can't walk or Metro to. Even what I spend on insurance, gas, and maintenance (not much) would buy a decent number of rides. I don't think I could ever make the numbers work to actually own any car if I had a car payment.

This was my last vehicle purchase about 7 years ago. I bought it used from Enterprise Rental. Best purchase decision I've ever made. The least cost vehicle I've ever owned and easily the most reliable.

In an era where everything is disposable with a limited shelf life, it was nice to have something well built that would literally last you forever. That is...... until your daughter starts driving it.

I’ve spent most of my adult life as a road warrior.

Put 300k miles on an Accord and then bought a Camry a few years ago. Both were/are excellent vehicles from a reliability and gas mileage standpoint.

These days I’m not driving 40k plus miles per year, so the Camry likely could last 10-15 years if I want it too.

I drive a TL type S. Quick sporty car that’s still practical.

Sport and entry luxury sedans have enough of a niche market that they won’t be going away anytime soon. And regular sedans will be around as long as there’s demand from urban markets.

You can argue that the Japanese manufacturers have killed American competition. Chrysler and GM simply couldn’t make sedans to save their lives. I’ve seen people with 1 and 2 year old 200’s stranded in parking lots because the damn thing won’t start.

The Fusion wasn’t a half bad car though.

I drive a Jetta. IDGAF. To be honest I really don’t care what my car is as long as I don’t have to put much money into maintenance or gas. The Jetta is at 100k and 0 problems so far. I don’t do anything except usually remember to get its oil changed with something resembling regularity.

I drive a 2006 Camry. I bought it right after college with the plan to pay it off and drive it until it dies. Nearly 200K miles later it is still going

Similar story here. I have a manual transmission 2007 Mazda 6 that's up to 160,000 miles and shows no sign of wearing down.

Every year, I think about getting a new car. But then I think about how much I've saved by having no car payments, and I give my Mazda a nice car wash instead.

I drive a 2012 Buick verano. I feel like I'm driving a go kart after having trucks most of my life. Its fun to drive though and not bad for 2 hours of commuting every day
