Who here drives a mid-size car or smaller? (Camry, Corolla, Elantra, etc.)

Seems like these cars are becoming sparser on the roads as the years pass.

They are. American manufacturers aren't even going to make them anymore. It's all about them crossovers baw

I do.

And Mingo is right. The new hype is crossovers.

Too bad.

I had the new Corolla as a rental for a week and it was a very solid vehicle. Smooth and excellent gas mileage.

Total revamp on new platform. I am assuming you drove the hatch?

No, I drove the regular version. The hatchback looks cool though.

Camry gets great mileage and is fairly decent but, if I’d had a choice in the matter I would have gotten an Accord.

At this point in my life, “comfortable and will run forever with minimal maintenance” beats most other considerations.

Pretty astute assessment OP. You have a future in car manufacturing, and/or with a auto mag.

I drive an Accord. These vehicles aren't going anywhere for the value aspect for smart(frugal) professionals with a sizable commute. You drive up to a refinery or plant outside the city and you can easily determine operators vs the salaried folks by the vehicle they drive.

Camry/Accord vs Truck Nuts/Muscle Cars.

Her commute is 3 miles and mine is 5. She just needs something small because she's a shitty driver. Accord is 6 years old and has been wrecked 3 or 4 times. I can't remember which

I drive a F150.

I don't agree. I still see a great number on the road along with the crossover and smaller SUV's. It seems that every other car on the road where I reside is a Honda Accord/Civic - Toyota Camry.

Both my wife and I drive sedans.

FG you park in high rises?

I haven't bought a truck for that reason alone.

I do - Camry. I don’t care about what I drive to work. Use wife’s SUV for towing my boat or hunting. It’s just transportation to me and I hate the idea of spending more on gas.
