I cook everything that requires more than the air fryer or microwave. Mrs. STLDawg just has never been much of a cook.

Subtle wealth brag.

For real though it adds up. I can't afford to eat out even once per day, let alone twice.

Born and raised in south LA, and she does 85% of the cooking.

I’ll grill once a week.

I do most of the cooking but I enjoy it. She hates cooking but does the cleaning.

I do 90% of the cooking. My wife does a lot of stuff well but cooking isn’t really one of them. I guess I’m a bit particular so it’s more of me volunteering to do it rather than her not wanting to.

I do almost all of the cooking. I like to cook and she's way busier than me, so it works out great.

Me, otherwise I'd starve since I live alone.

Pre-divorce, it was me as well. That lady burned hard boiled eggs...multiple times. Shouldn't have married a girl from Shreveport, but dat azz.

I do all of the meals that require actual prep and cooking.

She does all of the meals that are essentially preassembled or made in a crock pot.

She could cook if she had too.

Definitely a Louisiana thing for the man to work and provide….but still cook all the meals….we put all other men to shame

That’s what I was thinking. Married a good Cajun girl that knows how to cook. Wife does about 95% of the cooking. I do most of the outside grilling.

I prep and clean, my husband cooks. I can start to make something and he kind of just of "takes over". It completely works, because he has patience for things like "reducing" a sauce that madden me. I am grateful for his skills!

I cook 99% for my husband and myself. I like to cook, and 20 years as a SAHM kind of set the precedent.

My son and daughter do almost all their own cooking. When I said “you don’t like what I fixed, make your own dinner”…they did. Now they both like to shop and cook, too.

Wife 85% often me assisting or hanging out sipping whiskey or wine. My 15% is comprised of grilling, smoking, wok magic and other specialty things.

Isn’t that just literally doing almost nothing but letting it cook down?

It’s probably 70/30. She can’t cook for shite but I get tired sometimes. A cream of something casserole never killed anybody.
