“Hey people don’t tell me they’re too poor to do certain things, so it must mean it’s untrue. It can’t have anything to do with being embarrassed that they can barely afford something everyone has to pay for.”
This may very well be the douchiest thread in OT history.

ie: Bluthian. He is really coming across as a Bluth. He’s scorning anyone who lives paycheck to paycheck and has to think about gas in their finances. That’s played for comedy in the show, but this guy is a spoiled prick.

At 3.59 here. 87
3.79 91
At that price I make lists and go less often to more distant stores.
I'm supporting 3 women.
I need to watch my money.

I’ll be honest, I uber drove between jobs a few months back. You don’t think gas prices to make things work wasn’t in the back of my mind highly during all of this? What a spoiled punk the OP is.

You come across as very pompous. Probably what you are hoping to do, though. Lots of people in the oil industry love to talk about how insignificant the price of a gallon of gas is when it is high. They also complain when the price per gallon of gas is low. Ironic.

So hypothetically if gas went to $5/gal, would that household decide not to drive to work? Makes zero sense..
This is your compelling argument? If taxes were raised to 50% it does not mean people would stop working, it just means they have less expendible income.
You are either 16 years old or trolling.

Now let’s say some crazy shite went down in Iran and caused gas prices to soar to $5 a gallon in a weeks time.
Would that family cancel their trip because the price of gas would cost them an extra $200 to get there?
Why yes, I do think many would have to consider canceling or postponing that trip.
Both the added cost to get there, and the reduced money in their pockets for entertainment would pinch many people enough to think twice.
Similarly you’d see people skip some silly trips out of the house and stack up errands into single trips for instance

Let’s face it. And I'm not being funny. I mean no disrespect, but you're a count. You're a count now, and you've always been a count. And the only thing that's going to change is that you're going to be an even bigger count. Maybe have some more count kids.
Edit: subtract the “O”s from all the counts.

In my fortunate situation I don’t have to worry about the price of gas. Other people might, which is why I asked the question (WHO cares about the price of gas?) as in who on the board cares. But snowflakes ruin everything amirite?
I’m not worried about it- but I sure do prefer when it’s cheap to get places and the stuff I buy at those places is less expensive.
If my gas bill suddenly doubled, and things like food went up... I’d re-evaluate my budget/lifestyle.... not because I’m poor but because I’m a functional adult that makes rational choices and not trying to impress anyone

I’m on the downstream side.... price per barrel doesn’t affect me as much as upstream. But,
sure I like my bonuses to be bigger.
As far as being spoiled and never working and blah blah blah....
I did work in high school starting as a freshman cutting people’s yards and cleaning up new home construction sites.
Then moved on to being an electricians helper. Then was a bartender and waiter in college.
My parents never paid a dime for me.
A/C went out in my truck in high school and my parents wouldn’t foot the bill. I struck a deal with shop owner to help change oil and keep shop clean till I paid off the repair bill.
I don’t work in a office now either... I’m outside all day everyday .
I am thrifty in all areas of my life. I do all my own vehicle maintenance. I drive a mid 2000’s truck. I handle all home repairs, unless it’s something major. I only pay cash for my toys.
I just don’t care what the price of gas is.... that’s it.
Don’t assume

I don't believe you went to college with the lack of common intelligence you showed in this thread.

Blah, blah, blah? It’s fricking clear that you’re a spoiled dickhead who has had everything handed to him. You’re completely disconnected from the reality of the average person.

You taking a vacation in Haiti and dragging 6 logs total doesn’t count.

But the lie dectector determined that was a lie.

What an awe inspiring story about your parents not fixing your AC. That will break the hearts of millions that you had to do not your own AC. Call Diane Sawyer.

Thank you for proving our point, you dumb frick. A lot of people need to put something on loan and credit in order to get something they need. And include talking like at least 80% of society. You’re a spoiled brat completely disconnected from the real world. Go frick yourself.

Man y’all are in some serious melt mode on here
I made a statement that I just don’t care about the price of gas and you would’ve thought I drowned a litter of kittens.
Why does a grown man feel the need to care enough about a strangers comments on the internet to bash him.
I just asked a question if anyone else like me couldn’t care less what the price was. Which some people agreed with me.

Driving to a vacation
Flying to a a vacation destination (fuel costs directly affect airline fees)
Yeah, gas costs affect nothing

No, you said it didn't matter, which is patently false.

No they didn't.
I agree that OMLandshark is melting, but the dude is unhenged if you're not familiar with his style. That doesn't make you less of an idiot though.
