I fill up daily so I do check the price. I get reimbursed for mileage though and the rate fluctuates based on the price of gas so in the long run, it doesn't really even matter.

Have you ever personally not done something because of what the price of gas was?

What you should be more concerned with, besides just the price at the pump. Is how that increase in fuel affects every sing;e thing you purchase at the store. Almost everything you purchase is shipped, and the price of fuel affects every bit o what that costs you. It’s more than just fuel when you fill up.

You're just poor if you care about gas prices

I’d love to know your price point on which you would stop buying food because rising gas prices increases the costs of consumer goods.
You will still buy it

Sorry I don’t wake up everyday worrying if the chevron down the road bumped gas prices up $0.15 overnight

It’s not just food you thick headed son of a gun. It’s every fricking thing you purchase or use. It all hinges on fuel prices. How old are you?

You really are stupid.
Won't stop buying food. But the type of food and brands will change.

You won't dumbass, but as it has been explained to you multiple times you may stop cooking steaks every Sunday afternoon.
It's been explained to you in the simplest terms possible. If you don't get it now, you have no hope. I sincerely hope for you, you just don't want to admit you're wrong, not that you still don't understand.
Bless your little heart.

"I'd love to know your price point where you would stop breathing because of rising gas prices."

You just don't understand, you're just poor.
This guy works downstream so the price of oil is irrelevant to him both personally and professionally, simpleton.

Well if it gets some of yall off the road and drives down the price of prime beef I am starting to agree with the OP, looks like a win for me.
Yall should just eat cake if there is no bread.

I do. The chevron down the street is 3.85/3.95/3.99. The Arco is 3.55/3.65/3.65. That’s a big difference for some of us.

Eggs at $3 a dozen is a no go for us. We haven’t bought eggs in several weeks because that price is just ridiculous. Ground meat at $4.59 a pound means no ground meat that week. Add in almost $4 a gallon gas and we are really feeling it out here.
