I'm not saying your lying, but how? If you are using your company card for personal expenses that's taxable to you and your company. I'm skeptical that you have both gotten away with that since 2006.

I'm not sure they'd be bankrupt, but they wouldn't be in good shape. If gas gets to $5 a gallon there's going to be a lot less trucks on the road and they're getting out of the sedan business.

What he said he did no research on, but it's not really a crazy statement.

Out of curiosity. What is your education level. And, what do you do for a living?

I don’t drive enough for it to matter much. When I was 20 in 2008, gas was $4.50 and I drove an hour each way to work then I felt it for sure. I still pay very close attention to the price of gas just because it interests me. I have an app that logs how much I pay and the mpg I get etc. That has more to do with me being a nerd than me actually being concerned with how much I’m spending on gas.

I usually don’t notice what the price is until after I get the pump running. I mean, I care how much it costs, but I have to buy it to get where I need to go so it doesn’t really matter. I try to justify it by telling myself that my ride only holds 16 gallons so even if it has gone up 10 cents a gallon since the last time I filled up, it’s only another $1.60.

I understand the value of petroleum. Not paying for fuel in my vehicle is definitely made up in my ridiculous vacations. It's a wash.

Well no, but they may decide not to drive across town to their favorite restaurant or to the movies. This isn't that hard, seriously are you just retarded?

You realize how stupid this comment is?

If someone can't afford an extra $10 for a pricier tank of gas that lasts several weeks, can they really afford to go to the movies where tickets are $15/each or go out to dinner and spend $20-$40/person?

What the frick is wrong with you people?

I won't go out of my way to save 5 cents on a gallon of gas. But what I saw on Jefferson Hwy. near Bocage today reminds me of how dumb people are. And I'm I've mentioned it before, but it stil shocks me.

There is a mini-mart/gas station (Chevron I think) called Bocage Mart or something, right across from Churchills. I happened to notice the sign as I drove by today and it said $2.99 for a gallon of regular. I thought "holy shite, did gas prices go up when I wasn't looking?", but sure enough a half mile up the road at the Circle K at Lobdell and Jefferson, regular gas was $2.39. That is 60 cents a gallon difference...for basically the same thing. So when the Bocage Tennis moms fill their Suburban with 25 gallons of gas at the Bocage Mart, they spend an extra $15 per fillup when they could have gone a half mile out of their way and saved the money. But I guess if dumbasses weren't buying it, then they wouldn't sell it at $2.99

So if it was $10/Gal you wouldn’t notice it hit your account. What a dumb piece of garbage. Literally effect the economy in a negative way when everybody is paying high prices for gas. Money that is spent in gas people can’t spend to go out to eat. They don’t leave their house as much. We saw it happen when gas was creeping up on $5.

I make decent money. But I know what stations are cheaper.
I won't go to know that's 20¢ more or ever to to the ones that charge more for credit cards.
Generally I go to Exxon's with Circle K.

The other day I was getting a drink and a girl gave the cashier four quarters and asked for gas on pump five. I thought "where she going to go on a dollar in an old Explorer? Pump six?"

I was going to offer to give her enough to buy a gallon, but I noticed she was wearing fresh Jordans.
