The “devil worshipers” of Frenchtown Rd
I grew up off Frenchtown Rd. We would ride our bikes and play on the railroad tracks.
LaFonda's on Airline was a favorite.
Reflections off Greenwell Springs rd before it moved to Cortana.
The Tiger Drive in on the corner of Greenwell Street and Airline.
Could buy alcohol underage at the store on the corner of Scenic and Choctaw from an old black man.

I remember when Seigen was 2 lanes and one of the only things on it was the Chevron(now Marathon) near I-10. It was mostly just woods. That stretch of Seigen between airline and I-10 blew up in a hurry. That really wasn’t that long ago. I think it was 2 lanes up until the mid to late 90’s.

I used to love that baseball card shop across from the McDonald's. And Woolworths
The card place was Cards, Comics, and Coins.
I got caught shoplifting from there when I was in middle school.

AIDS scare by the late 80s says otherwise
The media scared a generation of kids into thinking they might die if they kissed a member of the opposite sex.
Turns out reality and our intuition was right all along. As long as your weren’t consistently sticking your cock in the asses of multiple guys, or having your arse filled with multiple cocks, there was a pretty good chance you weren’t going to get AIDS.

Who remembers action quest paintball on Essen where Ollies is now? A little later than most of what’s discussed in here, but that was such a good time. Place was a dump with carpet everywhere so it was slick as owl shite with the paint. Good times
Also, what was the big sports store called on Sherwood at old Hammond across from where harbor freight is? I can’t picture the name but I can almost still visualize that place in my head almost 30yrs later

Byronz was across from BRHS and had a place on College
I was just thinking about that place. They had colorful table umbrellas, good sandwiches and Skee-Ball.
