re: White people names are out of control

That is absolutely freaking awful.

It's the weird spelling that I just can't figure out. The poor babies have to go the rest of their lives correcting everybody that uses the traditional spelling or pronunciation.

Example: I know a girl with first name spelled "Jeanne" and pronounces it "Gee-nee" and corrects everybody when they get it wrong.

It’s their grandparents fault. They sent their kids to school with 16 other Jennifer’s and 12 Sarah’s and one oddball kid named Moonbeam Starchild and they just want their kids to not have to go by their last initial forever.

I get a kick out of what the world will be like in 75 years when all of these ridiculous named people are grandma's and grandpa's. Well, for most of them that will be sometime in their 40's most likely.

Grandparents and great-grandparents today still have names like Bill, Mike, James, David, Margaret, Mary, Rose, etc. Grandpa Slayden and Grandma Bryliegh just sounds silly.
