I transport juveniles to and from Court pretty often and they ALL call each other the N word, no race or gender excepted. For the girls, their boyfriend is "my N."
It wears me out.

I get it’s just a word but I was raised in a household where that word wasn’t used and I’ve taught my children the same. I hate the PC world we live in but it all comes down to respect for me. I’m not one to put my hands on my children but if I heard that word come of their mouth I’d probably make an exception.

Same for me but I wouldn’t drop the N bomb, even back then before everyone had a video recorder in their hand. I cuss like a sailor but never feel the need to say it. When I hear it, it gets under my skin, especially when it’s younger white kids.

Yeah, its not something that is used on a regular basis and when we do, it's said in away that it would be used in a song (rap song). It's just talk between friends joking around that would never be used in a public setting.
And it is cringe worthy when younger white kids say it. If they could only look at themselves from the outside looking in and see how ridiculous they sound maybe they would stop saying it..
