I'd take the hyena. It looks like the ones from The Lion King.

Knew a big game hunter who had giraffe leg pedestal barstools... THAT is a conversation piece (or 4)... I wish cell phones had good cameras back when I visited his house... hell, I have an elephant skinned belt that I wear for Bama games (passed down through generations and still tough as nails)

Dude had pics of all his kills on his wall... lion, hyena, antelope, leopard, croc, wildebeest, said giraffe, etc...

I have zero idea why anybody would take a giraffe, but he sure as hell did

If I could choose one piece to take home, it would be the white rhino. As long as it was real and not a reproduction. Which is more common than you would think.

They got any bear rugs? I've always wanted a real bear rug

Eta: I'd get the rhino

We have a black bear rug with the head. I wish it were a little bigger but it's about 5.5 ft

You are looking at $3K for one give or take. My wife bought this one before we were married and said she paid $2K for it years ago.

argued the hippos would eat the invasive water hyacinth that was clogging the rivers and also produce meat to help solve the American meat predicament

Is there anything more Louisiana than this? This is putting great whites off the Jersey Shore to get rid of pesky tiger sharks. And there is beef, chicken, and pork, bros.

I vote hippo, but that head better be bigger in person than it is in pics.

Nope, just don't believe in killing for pure sport. You think this pos ate all this meat?

You do understand there are big benefits and regulation of hunting actually allows some species to thrive. Also, hunts of certain game actually fund their survival but I am guessing you never looked into any of those facts.

I don't think he's actually dead. Just selling his stuff so you can probably go to the sell and ask him.

Is it a cool conversation piece if you didn't kill it yourself?

Is it a cool conversation piece at all? Pay a ton of money for people to set you up in a place with the proper equipment to where all you have to do is squeeze the trigger and it's a garuntee to get the kill. Guys like this would probably have a human head mounted if they were allowed to kill someone.

Say you don't know shite about big game hunting without saying you don't know shite about big game hunting.

It is not my style but any big game killed by a westerner in the past 30 years or so is a positive for the that species the vast majority of the time.

If you aren’t the one who actually killed it, what conversation is there to have????

Where’d you get it?
Bought it at estate sale.
Cool

Conversation over

You have no way of knowing that and even if it wasn't why does that matter if it is mutually beneficial? His desire to hunt benefits the species he wants to hunt. What could be better than that?
