I'll say something no one else has said just to be different, but I also feel this way:

Auditing - it's a sham.

Retirees that stand around in doorways, and grocery aisles and drive under the speed limit. Those people should go back to work as professional shopping cart wranglers because of all those mistakes they made early in life.

Sports journalists

It's a good one.

Journalists are terrible because they think they're of vital importance to society and speak truth to power, but they're actually just mouthpieces for an elite vein of society (which they don't actually belong to despite being convinced they do). At core, 99% of journalists want to be on the cocktail party circuit, despite their gritty outward image.

Sports journalists are even worse because they take all of those attitudes and bring them to an "everyman" genre that is supposed to be fun and entertaining. The sheer ridiculousness of an elitist try hard who poses as a "man of the streets" lecturing blue collar people about how they shouldn't enjoy a game because of racism/covid/whatever. And doing so while that game and those people fund their very existence.

Most sports journalists are just failed big Js who didn’t have connections/pedigree to get the serious journalism job they always wanted

ETA - state school, suburb kids who dream of Ivy League cocktail parties, like
