60 year old cyclist hit and in critical condition per the advocate.

Roads are for cars. The levee has a perfectly good paved bike path on top of it that has no cars.

This has to be out of the jurisdiction of the neighborhood watch rent-a-cop. Hopefully he will let the real authorities handle it.

That path is only a few miles.

If this accident happened where I think it did, it's a very well-marked training route, and not patrolled nearly well enough.
