I've lived in Houston for 14 years, and have worked a ton in Dallas during that time, and aside from a few minor oddities, I have not noticed much of a difference in the two, aside from the people. 2 massive cities with a sprawling geography and a lot to do depending on where you are. People who claim one is way better than the other make me cringe at this point because I'm confident their opinion is based on nothing but an irrelevant bias.

Houston seems to be friendlier and more diverse.

I live in Houston and lived in Dallas previously. I much prefer Houston. I found people in Houston to be much friendlier.
Houston is much, much more diverse than Dallas. Houston is the most diverse city in the US, even more than NYC. Best thing here is that pretty much all neighborhoods share in that diversity and everybody gets along.

Houston has the top medical center in the country. It’s also the most culturally diverse city in the country. The food reflects that. Amazing cuisine.
If you have a lake house/ranch/farm/beach house/get away, it’s hard to beat.
Lol at Dallas.

That's cool for him, but it's still a shithole. I'm sure he has access to things even us OT ballers don't.
