But how else can I form an opinion about someone's worth if I don't know what generation they're from and what their political beliefs are?

Why would you be proud of the arbitrary period of time in which you were born?

This sums it up nicely.

Oregon Trail Generation

We were basically the first kids to really experience computers & the internet but never had to deal with social media until after college.

So I can tell you how much better it is than the arbitrary period in which you were born, millennial snowflake!

If you were born between 1977 and 1983, you belong to a group being re-defined as Xennials.
so they are saying people born in 1984 are closer related to people born in 1995. right.

Absolutely. They're trying to ease out of being millennials without being detected. We see you, bitches. You're still millennials.

thats because the media has lumped people who were born up to the millennial into the same generation as people who came of age around the millennial. Which is the original definition of millennial. which would be "around" 1978-1989

Xennials did grow up during a unique time.

What a mundane statement. Think about how fast the world has been changing since the 20th century.

Everyone born since 1901 grew up or is growing up in a unique time.

I don't associate either of those descriptors with "Millennial". Mostly what I see from them is that we're all going to die from climate change and they can't get a job better than barista with their gender studies degrees.

Xennial checking in. we are the most versatile generation. we have an appreciation for the time before computers, but also know how to hook up a fricking router unlike our parents.

Yep.

Most people on here though just think a millennial is anything born after them.

AKA what I see in random articles is my only experience of millennials and since I can't think for myself, I'm going to believe that minority represents all millennials.
