I love this part. "I had video games, but not as good as today's!"

Yeah no shite, neither did we. I had Nintendo and Sega too.

And all kids use their imaginations. My friends and I would be all over the neighborhood acting like we were cops or army or whatever.

When I was younger I would occasionally walk along a canal with some other kids across the street from me. Didn’t play video games until the evening for the most part.

AKA what I see in random articles is my only experience of millennials and since I can't think for myself, I'm going to believe that minority represents all millennials.

Additionally, Millennials are easily offended and can't take a joke.

As a humorless, easily offended millenial (as this thread evidences) you are a poor judge of jokes.

time isn't unique. it's the exact opposite. it's a standard measurement.

and less pedantically, if we're talking about a "unique period or moment," then every period or moment is unique.

either way, it's a useless statement.

Why are you people so obsessed with generations?

I've found labeling generations is mostly done for the back-end research that is ultimately used in marketing and consumerism. By understanding the sociology of particular generations, company's learn how to sell to particular individuals. Would you rather they label the demographics as "20th Century, Decade 7.5-8.5"? The common names used just make referencing an age demographic easier.

Xennial here (1983) who believes Baby Boomers did more to F up this country than Millennials have (so far).
