Which do you think is more toxic to a relationship? Booze or Social Media

I'd probably have to vote booze based on that it usually brings out a little more truth from the person drinking it and the truth hurts sometimes haha. There's also the little bit of aggression increase. Even the giddiest of drunks can be pushed to the edge of rage.
While social media is annoying as hell, that's pretty much all it is. Annoying. It's a competition amongst peers and as far as relationships go, it brings out the insecurities of the lesser attractive and/or the one that cares the most. It's a sad reality that the one who cares the most always loses.
What say the OT therapists?

both booze and social media are symptoms to a greater problem, so neither

Women are more toxic to relationships than booze or social media or both booze & social media combined.

If either of those are toxic to your relationship, you're with the wrong person.

It depends on the person. Either in excess can be damaging. And either in excess can be fine, depending on the person. I hate that kind of answer, but yeah.

Social Media.
Anytime a woman can vent and talk with her friends at the drop of a hat, you can hang it up. It just further feeds their need for constant validation and wanting to be "wanted"

What does your dungeon look like?

Every married couple that I've known who regularly still went out to bars together ended up getting divorced at some point.

Stay away from both and focus on the person you're in a relationship with. Abuse either and you really don't have a relationship, just the appearance of one.

I can agree with this for the most part. In today's world where insta famous is a thing, maybe one or the other brings in six figures based upon their appeal on social media. Is a weak ego really a sign that you're with the wrong person? I don't know.

Social media. It's not even fricking close.

Well when I get drunk, I get angry and childish about Social Media.
Th synergy is pretty frickin rad and makes for some really awkward mornings sometimes. Like today.

Social media, easily.
A daiquiri your wife used to drink isn’t going to hit her up while you are at work.

Social Media
One has to get the booze to drink, or go out to get the drink. One doesn't have to leave their bedroom, or bed to spam social media. No $ needed to spread lies on twitter and facebook minute by minute.

If that is your honest opinion, you are the type of person that shouldn't drink.

Or...maybe having a trusted support system to lean on is a good thing for a woman. Your poor SO must not be allowed to ever leave the house.
It's all about how you are venting and talking with your friends about your spouse. I may voice frustrations I have(again in person or private conversations online with friends...never posting it on fb as a status)....but I never talk badly ABOUT my husband. Cause when the fight is over and we have made up....my friends would just remember all the bad stuff I've said.

Are you saying you as a generality or telling me that I shouldn't be drinking? If you're telling me I shouldn't be drinking...why? Because I've made observations? Tbh, I really don't drink that much at all. A few whiskey drinks on the weekends, but my party drinking days are long behind me due to not liking hangovers haha.

Social media IMHO.
Booze creates its own drama. Social media can create its own or help import it from other people.
