Yeaaaa Now I'm too embarrassed to go take it down. Like admitting I'm a dumb frick.

I'll ride it out till the weekend or so.

The story behind that pic was me trying to get the gf to come out the cabin and get in with me. I sent it to her sitting 20 feet away on the sofa all warm. Was silly.

I just happened to keep it and happened to be drunk enough to post it.

Also, on social media, one lie, pushed by one, then others can create chaos and possible death/s.

I think Social Media is changing the dynamic. More from this angle however....Social media shows the best of everyone, you don't post certain pictures, because of appearance, or what is behind in the photo.

What this breeds is for people to get a false since of reality and unfairly compare their worth to that of their peer group. The problem with that is that the peer group of our parents (social friends, coworkers, neighbors..etc.) has expanded 1000% with our "peer" group being everyone you are friends with or follow.

when you compare what you don't have it is really hard not to forget what you do have and that jealousy breeds resentment in the spouse dynamic...."why can't we have more, why can't he or she have a better job, did i marry the wrong person?"

that causes the weak of mind to wonder to try and find the life they see on Facebook and what is the terrible is most of the time they had a life most would envy if they could get out of their own head and see that.

I'd probably have to vote booze based on that it usually brings out a little more truth from the person drinking it and the truth hurts sometimes haha.

If the truth hurts then both the truth and pain are necessary.

During the holidays I was really upset/angry/depressed cause of stuff with my dad. There were several days(especially right before and on the actual holidays) where I had to just tell myself to stay away from fb. That seeing everyone's perfect posted Christmas pics (even though I know they all have their own struggles) was just gonna make me feel that much worse.

I got rid of social media in 2015. My life is exponentially better without keeping up with that crap. I don't care about other people's lives. If I do, I pick up the phone and call them.

It also showed me how little others care by not ever picking up the phone. That's fine by me.

I'm engaged and I'm not allowed to drink and dip in the home. Really ever, rarely. When I was living alone, I'd more than likely drink 4-5 nights a week. It wasn't healthy even though I wouldn't be getting hammered.
