Years ago I think it was the Camry, but not now.

The Land Cruiser was supposed to be the halo but it is gone in the US.

The Prius.

Was the pilot episode for their current excellent crop of hybrids and upcoming EVs.

I’m thinking about trading in my Ford Focus for a Rav-4. Suggestions?

Arguably the Yaris, which is their best selling car, by far, in Japan.

The Hilux

The whole reason Toyota can not sell it in this country is because Toyota made a video where they tried to destroy it and all a mechanic could use was simple hand tools and it always started back up. All the other truck manufacturers realized they couldn’t back that up. They made a deal with Toyota to never sell the Hilux in the states because it would screw the other companies truck sales up tremendously.

That hilux is at Toyota headquarters and you can watch the video of all the crap they did to it to try and make it not run

It was.

To the OP in the US it has to be the RAV4, the only thing that outsells it are domestic P/Us.

Toyota has been selling more Rav4s than Corollas for several years
