My wife has a pair and complains about how uncomfortable they are and how they give her blisters. I think they are the ugliest effin shoes and will never understand them.

My wife has a bootleg version of them. I don't know if they fell off the back of the truck or they are counterfeit, but she in no way paid that much for shoes.

My wife, no. My daughter has a couple of pairs, but she had to use her own money. I was not going to pay for them. Hers were about $600 each. Looks like they were patched together from 25 year old Chuck Taylors that were found under someone's front porch.

Bought my wife two for our anniversary. I got a truck so I can't complain.
My sister and niece have probably 10+ each. Completely ridiculous.
I will say, they really hold their value if you ever want to resell them.
