Tell me who it's with, and I can rank it.

Sex is important, but what is best in life is to crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of their women.

I appreciate her honesty, but for her husband's sake, I hope she goes and gets a hormone panel done and gets that's fixed. There are medical interventions for low sex drive, it's a matter of want nowadays.

And I agree, poor guy.

Where in my post did I say I don't have regular sex with my husband?

There is nothing poor about my husband. He's been coming back for more for 32 years. y'all mark your calendar for three decades of marriage and check back in.

You’d have done better if you’d just humbly reflected on the implications of what you said. Knowing that his wife has no desire for him any longer is a soul crusher for a man. Just because you patronize him doesn’t change that. I’m not condemning you or insulting you , again, I’m sure you are a great woman, but I am asking you to think about the wisdom of that approach. If you write something that makes me feel pity for your husband, that’s on you, dear.

I mean, it could be a whole lot worse than a guy getting laid regularly by the woman who loves him. You could argue that her motivation of love and duty over lust and sexual desire is even more admirable, and caring.

sigh. I give up.

Nothing I say can make you feel anything. Your feelings reflect your own biases and they are all over your judgmental post.

No offense, but your post definitely gave the impression that you have no sexual desire for your husband (none at all really). It’s great if you do have sex with him for his sake, but you have to understand that your statement didn’t do you any favors.

I understand your defensiveness. It’s not every day a woman hangs her husband out to dry like that on the OT. And then doesn’t really walk it back. I hope you can enjoy sex again someday. Everyone should sincerely enjoy sex with the one they love. And for God’s sake, most importantly, never let him know you feel that way. A part of him would die.

I'm sorry but your post makes it appear as though you don't like sex, but give it up to him because it's a duty.

Kudos for not withholding it from him, at least he gets that primal urge met. It just appeared that you don't like sex with him, but begrudgingly give it up.

I’m almost 50 and been married 25 years. My libido has declined significantly in the last 4-5 years.

With that being said, it’s still number 1

In terms of physical pleasure, sex and food are 1a and 1b.

The only thing that's non physical that beats either is the love I have for my family.
