If I had known mushrooms in 1968 could lead to such longevity, I’d have ordered more on my pizza.

1999 and 2000 may have been the busiest time in my life.

I had just made partner, my wife had become the director of the NPO she worked for, we had a toddler, were finishing up building our dream house (that by itself had us on the brink of divorce). was training like a madman daily for the cycling season, rock climbing, and for my Annapurna climbing expedition the fall of 2000. It was a period I probably didn't average over 4 hours of sleep a night for over a year.

Despite the crazy op tempo of my life at the time I loved every minute it was the beginning of the culmination of my ambitions. I couldn't come close to doing those years again and at my age would probably choose a year in prison vs trying to do it again. I said I loved every minute but that is a lie, there were many times building the house was utter torture. Even that paid off because 25 years later after 2 major renos and a large addition I am still in the house and still love living in it.

99 was the summer between my junior and senior year of high school. That summer to this day might be my favorite summer of all time

Sophomore in high school. First thing that comes to mind is my highschool gym and hearing the smashing pumpkins and football practice and Bob Marley in the weight room or GNR. Erections in the hallway, Spanish teacher with 10/10 tits….leading to more hallway erections.
