Have to be in Shreveport in 2 weeks and am looking for a hotel to stay at. Casinos all want to charge $350+ which is way too much for Shreveport but I don't just want to book any hotel because, well, it's Shreveport.

Anybody know of a reasonably priced hotel where I won't get shot/get herpes?

Holiday inn over there by the casinos has a happy hour with free beer.

That's about the only good thing I found up there.

Hampton Inn on Milicent Way. Good part of town, plenty of restaurants, quick access to I49 as well as the inner loop.

Any of the hotels in Bossier next the mall would be good. Hilton in Bossier is $81 a night.

Look into Airbnb.

Mainstay suites in Bossier is the old Marriot Residence Inn. We stayed there many years ago when a tree went through our house. Only $60 a night.

There are some hotels off of Bert Kouns near the hospitals that are pretty new and not in a bad area...those are worth a check

If you want to be downtown, go with the Hilton. There's also a Marriott next to the Boardwalk in Bossier. As someone else said, the Hampton Inn at Bert Kouns and Millicent is in a good location.

I second the Courtyard Marriott on the river walk. Walking distance to the Horseshoe/Margaritaville.

i second the remington. downtown hilton is overpriced. remington has a nice little bar area and place to chill downstairs. it is like a boutique hotel in nola, but with hot water
