Hard to say. But odds are, we frick up most of it before we finally start getting any of it right. Hopefully we haven’t destroyed civilization by then.

Have you seen the "Joe Rogan" AI podcast? That ought to scare the shite out of anyone. Rogan had to go on air & deny that that AI podcast was him, just a fake AI duplication. There was even an AI guest. As Musk puts it, "it's too late to try & control it, we're just along for the ride now". WalMart is setting up a new security system in all its stores, part of which is security cameras run by AI's covering every cash register & high priced goods' aisles. That YouTube video ought to wake up any doubters. But if not, consider that China is once again ahead of us & they have zero qualms about how to use AI's .

AI will never be more than math. It will never be self aware. for all the jobs it eliminates, it will also create that many jobs. try to use ai and that will help you understand. learn how ai "thinks" and that will help you understand.

AI DeepFakes are already occurring. You'll never know what's real and what isn't.
Imagine all the propaganda governments can generate with this.

It’s not about physical AI robots yet. It’s AI automations within businesses that normally hire a person to perform.
It can train itself. ChatGPT4+ trains itself.
There was a test run where the prompter told AI it had $100, and he wanted it to build a profitable online business from scratch. Including picking a hot niche, researching what types of products/services they were most likely to buy, and then deploying the site buildout and implementing the marketing strategy it created.
It then began creating and training its own team of AI prompts for automations.
It was profitable immediately. I’ll have to check the exact numbers, but it took something like 3-4 months and it was generating 10k a month.
Weirdest shite, it sourced humans from places like fiverr.com for things it needed done in the real world.
They just released this version to the public under a paid subscription.
This shite is real, and people are going to lose their jobs while others will have to adapt and take on other roles within the business.

What’s really scary is AI ingesting all this fake news bullshite and running off of what Google, etc. feeds it. Manipulated “intelligence.”

Chat GPT is already programmed to be a leftist

You're missing the point. At some point, it will program and "improve" newer iterations of itself.
Combined that with us not being able to tell if what we see and hear on TV/internet is real, and you've got a pretty wild situation for humanity.

It may change the internet into something we only use transactionally. As far as getting news and entertainment, social media, etc. it’ll be so full of fakeness no one will use it.
And thus, sometimes a perceived great evil turns out to be a good thing in the end.
