It's changed slightly here. Seems a bit drier, little warmer but not much. The sea moderates the effects a bit

Our summers have gotten progressively warmer the last few years. They're putting AC in new housing now.

Lot of stupid frickers on this board. Personally I'll believe the experts who have been remarkably consistent and accurate for the past 40 years.

Except they haven't.

Climate change is real but the fear mongering is out of control. Of course, you can't win the war of ideas without scaring people

It was definitely chilly in Milwaukee and Buffalo the past week, but we're getting back up into the 70s/60s for the foreseeable future

It's been 60's and 70's for a couple of weeks here in DC. Glorious.

was predicted in report after report after report from the mid 70s to mid 80s due to man made global warming. Reports that have turned out to be quite accurate.

I thought in the 70's, the experts and media were pushing the idea that we were heading towards a global ice age? Pretty sure of that.

I do agree we are in a warming cycle though.

Fall never gets here until mid October. Opening day of squirrel season requires snake boots, a camo T-shirt, and shorts.

We've usually had a few days in the low 80s and nights in the 60s by now by you are correct. I remember many years of sweating my arse off trick or treating.

Yea, that's true. At least a one- or two-nighter of cool. I just did a reenactment just south of Sheridan, AR. It got down to the low '60s one night and high '50s another. Got warm but not oppressive hot during the day. It's not Louisiana, but I'm guessing even north LA got cool. That's pretty much been our one that I can tell.

Except we had our coldest December and January in decades last winter with multiple snow events and our 4th coldest April

But you will probably just say that global warming caused these extremes

08-09 and 09-10 winters were also extremely cold
Most of this is caused by blocking in Canada and a decrease in sunspots
Right now we could be heading into the lowest sunspot count since the 1800s

Climate change is real but no one can actually say how much is man made so go spew your fear mongering propaganda somewhere else
