Where does the Jackson Hewitt tax kioskes rank on the trashy scale?

Was out getting some house cleaning supplies at Walmart and noticed one of these. The person getting “served” had a face tattoo and the person waiting Inline had a shopping cart full of junk food/frozen food (I’m sure all on the governments dime) and about 4 kids all hanging off/running around the cart. On one hand I’m shocked these people are actually paying taxes but on the other disgusted that this is allowed to go on in a grocery store. Has anyone on here had any experience with these places

I rant about this every year. These people aren’t “paying taxes.”
This is not a situation where they had 10k withheld, and are getting 4K of it back, basically paying the govt. 6K.
These people are getting paid money beyond the little that was withheld. I.E. let’s say 2k was withheld, they get a check for 8k. That’s their 2k back and 6k of YOUR money. They aren’t “paying” taxes, they are getting a handout.
Because it wasn’t their money in the first place, they will blow it all in 24 hours. There are multiple entire industries that rely on free tax money from dumb people each year.
