If people would stop overextending themselves to buy 50k plus trucks, guess what would happen?

It's always worth noting, that you don't have to buy expensive new cars. I just purchased the most expensive vehicle I've ever had at $24K and I will drive it at least 10 years.

Depending on where you live, yes housing is crazy, but you can live in a smaller older house and not try to be that guy that blows 50% of his earnings on a house note.

If you know how to shop this isn’t bad. I am actually amazed at times at what can get for $10-$20.

Ever heard of inflation?

Yeah, unless there are governmental constraints to the market (like new housing limitations in California), prices across all sectors will rise and fall relative to supply and demand. And that will happen in parallel with inflation.

It's very simple, as long as people continue to pay for things despite the increase in price, the price will continue to rise.

Or more accurately, as long as people continue to finance stuff, and the companies continue to extend credit, despite the rise in prices...
