Agree with this. That city and surrounding areas are still growing like crazy.

yea if i had to bet on an area it would be lafayette, next would be rustn area. If hurricanes stay away, i see Lake Charles area making a big time come back and being #3 on the list as places that will explode.

OP not sure what your interest are but all 3 of the above offer nice places that will allow you to escape. Lafayette will have a lot more traffic than LC and Ruston though.
