I don’t disagree with you. However, with that said, most of the people on this thread taking umbrage with the article are doing so because of the race of the people involved as they are assumed to be on government assistance because they are black, not because they are human beings buying frivolous things.

I'm saying people are constantly complaining about not receiving Trump bucks or that their state was slow on unemployment. But once they get that money, it's to run out and buy non essential items.

Nah, I take just as much umbrage with 20 year old plant baws buying $70k pickups. It’s simply a waste of money. Difference is, they earned theirs.

Nike tries to act woke but they are profiting off market manipulation in they way they sell these things for $300 after paying $14 to make them in China. They act as if capitalism and profit are not their driving force. I loathe the hypocrisy more than anything.
