Me too. Store manager used to gather a few of us to go into the ghetto next to the A&P I worked at to get them from in front of peoples houses and stuff.

I don't know who or what a cart narc is but I groan to myself whenever I see some lazy bastard choose to not put the cart back where it goes. I often imagine how lazy they are with everything else in life.

Why do people melt over carts being left in the parking lot?
There are store employees who's job it is to retrieve the carts. It's called entry level work. When I was younger and in school this is what we did for extra money and gain experience being an employee. We would retrieve carts, bag groceries, sweep/mop spills. Eventually we'd get to work in the warehouse and learn stocking shelves, sometimes even cash register.
Now snowflakes have made these entry level jobs "demeaning". The customer should retrieves the carts, the customer should bag his/her own groceries, hell even self checkout.
I never bring my cart back, No one comes to my work and does part of my job.

You'll change your mind when a cart scratches or dents your Volvo.
They have to be gotten whether they are out in the parking lot or in the corral anyway. You definitely aren't doing their job for them.

You probably throw your trash out of your vehicle window too don't you? I mean, there are people who go out and pick up so what's the big deal?

I try to every time. Incredibly shitty to just be a lazy piece of shite and leave your cart sitting where you emptied it. Then everyone has to meander through carts to not damage their vehicle because fat people don’t want to walk 10 feet.

I try to find an empty parking space near the front door and leave my cart in the middle of it. I'll sometimes park nearby and laugh at the anger people show stopping, getting out, and moving it out of the way.

It's amazing but in all my years I have never came out of the store and had a cart pushed up against any of my Volvo's. I have on a few occasions had to secure an alternate parking spot because the one I had originally intended to occupy had a cart blocking my entry or was located in a way that I thought it might leave a scratch if I tried to squeeze in.
I can't honestly that I was even slightly annoyed about it.

You're still not doing their job if you put it in the buggy corral.
It's laziness, that's all.
