I always put my cart up because I'm not a douchebag. Well not at that anyway. But cart narc is an idiot also. When I see someone leave a cart, I'll just give them the 'piece of garbage look' and maybe a head shake like I'm looking at a lost cause. Other than that, who cares? It's not like they aren't going to send some high school boy out there to corral them all up anyway. He'd probably rather be out there dicking around with the carts than having to bag groceries and get bossed around or if he's really unlucky clean up that giant jar of pickles someone dropped. Trust me... high school kid, loves chasing carts. But I try and do all I can to not inconvenience people especially with something that dumb.

I assume you throw trash all over the place while you're at it. To create even more work and jobs.

They might like doing it some but I know they don’t when it’s summertime and hot as hades outside.

Don’t mind a few extra steps to put the cart in the corral. Nothing more aggravating that when you find a good spot and it’s blocked by a grocery cart.

I bring my cart back into the store. Cart return is fine for olds and diseased people who can't walk back that far without dying, but I just prefer to bring it all the way back into the store.

My store is small. I pretty much always have the first spot. I don't even think they have a cart return area.

I hate people who leave them in a parking space.

I didn't even know Costco had a cart return. There is definitely none where I park in that area up against the front of the store.

I enter through Bluebonnet and have only ever parked in that area that is up against the front of the store.

I've been like 4 times in the 2-3 years we've had the membership. I think we even have the executive membership - need to cancel or whatever it is you do to end it (not pay anymore?) shite is 20 minutes from home and I hate crowds.

Depends...my local publix has....1 cart corral. If i am parked near enough...yes. If not and the kids are with me ...that cart is being left in the grass. Im not walking to the car...walking the cart back to the inside corral and then walking back with kids. Not leaving them in the car. Publix can put in more corrals..i figure its a business decision ...they know somevpeople aren't going to put them away properly regardless...so their staff will have to round up anyways...why buy corrals and waste 4 or 5 spots. Winn Dixie always because they have enough corrals

Roads were pretty busy today for me too. Sounds like people are done.
