I vote Monday and Friday are half days starting noon on Monday and ending noon on Friday.

Even if the US did go to four (not sure how they could actually do that), there will always be people willing to hustle on day 5 (and 6 and 7).
Don’t be upset when those people make more money and advance faster.

Start your own business and do it.

I think we do 4-10 and should also bring back blue laws on Sundays. Nothing open so plan ahead.

I did 4 10s for a few years. I'm back to 5 8s and I don't miss 10s. I like having more free time each day.

I already work 4 10s and would still eat her arse out.

I probably average around 52 hours a week for the year. No danger of my company fricking with that arrangement. Our customers work around the clock so we do as well.

Get on maintenance at the plant then baw. Been on 4/10s all year.

I'd take a 4x10 or 9x9 in a heartbeat.

This won't really work for everyone. I manage behavioral health clinics and we're booked solid M-F with a gigantic waitlist

I’d work 2-20’s if I could

9-80 is the way to go...Liked it much better than 4-10s. I've worked both.
This is the way to go imo. It’s generally 9-81 though. You have have staff on Fridays and everyone gets every other Friday off. 2 long weekends a month. The only issue is you have everyone taking the Monday of long weekends off also, but Management can handle that.

You already have people bred to think that they cannot work on Sundays at all. We don't need to compound that
Posted on 6/15/23 at 1:07 pm to grizzlylongcut
My last company offered it during slower times of the year but we couldn't take Monday or Friday off, that was the busiest days.

We did at my work, and it's going even better than we forecasted.

I don't think you know how this works

Posted on 6/15/23 at 1:12 pm to Bottom9
I would eat it just because!

Issue is I work 10 hour days a lot anyway.

This would probably have more of the effect that I’m assuming you were going for.
