I have 4 that I goy when I was 19 that I regret now but they aren't visible in casual wear and not a big deal. Probably will get them covered in the future with tributes to my mother and father. I got a few more planned, a tribute to my grandmother among various others. All hidden from sight with a t shirt.

I once did a little case study:
For a while, the local newspaper was posting mug shots of the folks arrested in Lafourche and Terrebonne parishes on Facebook. I think they called it "busted on the bayou". At one point, there were about 1000 mugshots on there. 38% of the photos featured arestees with neck or facial tats. I think it's safe to say that less than 1% of the general population has neck or facial tats. So, per this small sample, those with neck and/or facial tattoos were at least 38 times more likely to be arrested than the average person. Speaks to decision making in my humble opinion.

I work with quite a few MDs with sleeves. They do not cover them at work and no one seems to care. It was not acceptable in alabama but neither are homosexuals or mixed race couples. Seems rather self explanatory to me....

Point is, people get arrested from all walks of life. Just because you have a tattoo somewhere doesn't make you an automatic pos.
But I get what was trying to be said. Just disagree in the overall aspect of things.

I don't know what y'all are getting worked up about. most people with a lot of tats make bad life decisions. if you don't believe me, go walk into any prison in america.

Tattoos have been around for all of recorded history. I don't see them ever falling out. People who choose to rebel or are highly passionate about something that they're willing to degrade their body image to show it will always be around.

This is a tired argument by old people. Sure, the person who randomly decides to get a tattoo for shits and giggle might regret it down the road. But to others, it's body art.
