When will tattoos fall out of fashion?

The current trend of tattoos seems to really be peaking. When does the OT think that those getting lots of ink will start to regret it?
My prediction is that around 2020-2025 we will see a new age / all natural trend where more sleek, clean looks are fashionable.

I reject your initial premise, they never were.

they will always be fashionable for those that have the balls and creativity to rep them.

And all the current achy breaky life time mistakey permanent magic marker crowd will be laughed at by the youngsters.

They've been in fashion since before 3000 BCE, I don't have any but I don't see them going away anytime soon.

tho I did go in the 70's with my then stupid friends [including myself ] but never felt comfy in there. no stipper poles back then

My gf (no pics, she surfs my account) has a small wave on the top of her foot and another tattoo right above her panic button that you can't see (unless you're me
or the tattoo artist
).
I think they're pretty fun. Anything that others can see in public, though, is trashy.
I also can only imagine what the "private" one is gonna look like post baby :barf:

My arms are sleeved in black and gray. If I live to be 80, I'm not trying to impress anyone now..surely won't give a frick if I'm that old. Ink would be the least of my physical concerns. At that age only money matters.
