I know many 80-90 year olds with tattoos they picked up during WWII or the Korean War. It hasn't made a difference in tattoos people get today.
The most influential anti-tattoo experience I've had involved a lunch lady showing me her new ink when I was in 4th grade: a rose on her boob. In hindsight, what the eff that she showed it to a 9 year old girl.

Listen, people can do what they want with their bodies. I just can't perceive a successful career if you have sleeve and neck tats everywhere. Sure maybe if you are an entrepreneur, but i don't really see that happening in the corporate world.
Though, those that get those tattoos probably aren't looking to work in the corporate world either.

Have you ever had that kind of public compliment from the President of the United States? Ever been called the best at anything by anyone that matters? Hell, has anyone ever even noticed you away from an anonymous message board (lol)?

When I do deign to show up here anymore, it's strictly for the laughs that you and your fellow losers provide. I just enjoy seeing you clowns whine and cry after the latest butt-whipping we dished out. You have nothing--absolutely nothing--to offer a guy like me. It shocks me that you ever thought you did.
We work, play, and think on entirely different levels. Know your place at the bottom of the pecking order and I'll leave you alone.

I have nothing against them, but it seems that sleeves sort of limit your options, no? In terms of career paths.
Sure you can have a good job with sleeves, not saying that, just saying there are certain professions that won't hire people with visible tattoos.
Meanwhile there is really only 1 profession that won't hire anyone without tattoos. The Tattoo artist.
Though i guess, if you are getting sleeves, you aren't really seeking out those professions to begin with.

I'm not saying there aren't outliers, just that it is common practice in certain professions to not have sleeve tats for those professions.

You aren't understanding what i'm saying. Just saying that if you are committing yourself to a sleeve tats that are visible, you probably aren't looking to work in a corporate atmosphere. Not saying you can't work in a corporate atmosphere, but you simply don't want to.
