Armstrong INTL is way past its prime.

Definitely not the first impression we want to make with our biggest international airport.

Which NOLA Baws have their thumb on the pulse of the new airport plans?

It's already under construction.

And the D terminal is fine. C is okay. B is awful.

NOLA will have a spaceport before BR gets a loop.

Lafayette s loop will merge with BR loop and go straight to new airport.

Seriously, why would they build another airport in a city the government would love to see disappear.

When I left town a couple years back it was just staring DD phase for the plans. I'd imagine civil site work has already started, if not already in to structural.

True story....I met this hot chick a few weeks ago at a bar that was an interior designer for airports. Then I ended up getting drunk and not getting her digits.

I think they are working on MSY right now brah

What's happens to all the new garages they have built the last couple years? Also the new rental car terminal, are they gonna continue to use those?

They will build a Tram to connect them together.

Or you could just take the BR/NOLA maglev train.

Is this stated in the plans somewhere?
I don't see how they would make that feasible

I think they will keep using concourse D as well as the garages. I think C will be office space or something.

I love MSY as a frequent traveler---particularly concourse B. Best food is on B. Easiest access is to B. I simply have US Park drop me at the first door, go through TSA Pre and to my gate.

The new terminal is nothing but a payoff to some Landrieu supporters.

Seems like the most feasible option would be a bus to shuttle to and from the rental facility.

frick airports. I'm betting JetPacks will be commonplace before NO gets a new airport or BR a loop.

They are wasting 800 million on a new useless terminal as we speak. I flew in the weekend of Memorial Day and including my plane a grand total of 7 planes were on the ground. So why expand....federal grant for the tri cennential celebration.
