If she was with her own child she would have had every right to be mad how he ran over there. But she wasn’t with any kids so she should have let it go

Actually, I'd bet if the roles were reversed and the Karen had a kid with her, then the guy ran in and snagged the ball from them, he would be the one getting ridiculed.

Hats off to both the Marlins and Phillies. As for that Never Trumper looking count, I hope the public gives her hell.

It appears she’s the most hated person of the day! At least on X and other platforms.

That guy sprinted pretty far away from his seat to scramble for that ball. There's got to be some kind of unspoken social limit on how far into other seats you can go and how hard you can scrap for a baseball, doesn't there?

Correct

She didn’t have a kid with her and going over to take it from a kid is what she did wrong

Because she’s a liberal count

That kind of person wants you to escalate things so she can play the victim and come after you. She’s like the Westboro Baptist of Baseball and would’ve been the type to try to press charges against the Dad if he really retaliated.

All sorts of more modern comparisons you could have made yet you decided to say the Westboro Baptist which hasnt been heard from in years...tons of progressive groups that fit this definition and have been far more active in recent years.

If it was fake the kid is gonna win a bunch of Oscars one day

Agree, although most of the arguments here are simply saying he got the ball fair and square.

Take the kid out of the situation, or switch who has the kid, and everything changes IMO.

This is correct. But as the situation played out she is the psycho

Definitely true. If you completely change and rearrange the entire fact pattern to a completely different situation and set of people it definitely changes everything. Good Point.

What kind of grown man makes that “startled” motion when the Karen approached?

I thought the same thing at first but, after watching it a few times, I think that was a “I am keeping my hands to myself/I didn’t strike her” motion. As if the guy knew he was on video. Because I can guarantee if he had spun around and smacked her, even on accident, the internet would be out with pitchforks and torches for his head.

BTW. What kind of man says Yikes?

I think he is just trying to say the initial action of the dad running as far as he did is also outside of general acceptable behavior

Thats what I mean. The initial confrontation looked like an over acted Nickelodeon scene where all emotions are doubled

The arm flail, complete shocked over the top face from dad, and saying yikes

It was odd as hell

The audacity of her to confront the dad by getting in his face and putting hands on him over a ball he retrieved and gave to his son. Just a nasty, pathetic old hag.

Think if the row was full then it’s within arm reach, if you can move without running over people it’s far game.
